From F.A.T.M.U.G FATMUG joins Friends of the Rappahannock for Spring River Clean-up!
Friends of the Rappahannock (F.O.R.) is hosting a spring riverside clean-up on April 25th to help keep our river looking beautiful. What a great way for us to get involved since the Quarry Trails are all along the river. While this event will encompass a large area within the city limits, FATMUG will be leading a group of volunteers to tackle one of the biggest eyesores along the river--the area below the I-95 bridges (yuck!) If you have biked or hiked to the quarry, you know this is a fantastically trashy mess. Let's help remove the crud and make this the beautiful place we know it is! If interested (please be interested), go to the link below and register with F.O.R. When you register let them know you want to work at the Quarry/I-95 section with us! Hope to see you there!
